Saturday morning we ran errands, errands, errands. We have several birthdays and baby showers in our near future so not only did we hit Costco for some groceries and Gwyneth's diapers, but I managed to cross off several "to do's" on my gift giving to-do list this morning. We rewarded ourselves for a productive morning with lunch at Great Scott's, our favorite local diner. They have real cherry cokes, a wonderful staff who fuss over our girls, a loud-kid friendly environment, and delicious food.
I was worried about Annabelle recovering from strep throat, but she seems to be bouncing back. We met up with the Rewalt family at the Butterfly Pavilion in the afternoon and the cousins all had a great time. Nathan made us all proud holding Rosie the tarantula, Annabelle loved chasing after her cousins, and Gwyneth was a big ol' dadda's girl and enjoyed being carried around. Jocelyn did a great job considering she really doesn't like butterflies. She use to be afraid, but she was very brave and walked through the pavilions and you would have never known.

So inquisitive. We love this place and we're getting our money's worth out of our membership!

Auntie Chriss, Uncle Paul, Nathan and Jocelyn joined us for dinner at our house and we ordered in Chicago-style pizza. It was delicious! The girls had a wonderful time playing with their cousins and we enjoyed catching up with B's sister and husband. We cracked up telling old stories - Chriss & Paul started dating about 2 weeks before B and I and that was 15 years ago! That's lots and lots of stories to laugh about....
