After the birthday party, Jennifer saved the day by suggesting we take the kids to Chuck E Cheese. The party ended at 4:30 and it was down south so we would have had to make Miss Gwyneth wait a bit for dinner if we drove home. No good at all! The girls had not been to Chuck E Cheese in a very long time, but they followed Jack's lead and he was so excited! Somehow we managed to keep the kids contained long enough to get a few slices of pizza in them and off they went playing games.
It seems like we set all 4 of the little ones down and they ran in 4 different directions! B took off with Annabelle and Gwyneth and I went off to find rides. Annabelle and Jack were very excited to earn tickets, but Gwyneth didn't care about the prizes. She wanted the rides!
Our path crossed with Annabelle briefly but she couldn't be bothered with these baby rides and off she went again...
Gwyneth and I played a few games with Jack & Ben and earned lots of tickets. Jack was so cute about winning tickets - he would scream and laugh and cheer. He loved the games, tickets and most importantly Chuck E Cheese. I see more Chuck E Cheese evenings in our future with the Carlsons.
Gwyneth rode rides, played Skee Ball, and took several trips down the slide.
