The Saints have finally made it to the Super Bowl and we were ready to celebrate! We could hardly wait for the game. We spent a quiet morning at church and then I made New Orleans Saints cupcakes. They were chocolate and gold with black sprinkles. The Tyler's invited us for their Super Bowl bash and we were ready for some football!
Miss Gwyneth ready for church
We feasted on lots of snacks, salad, lasagna, garlic bread, rice crispy treats and cupcakes! Yum! Is it possible that there's an even better 'stuff-yourself-with-delicious-snacks-and-food' day over Thanksgiving? Super Bowl has to be a close 2nd!
The Tyler's neighbors joined us for the festivities. Their son is the same age as Wyatt and their daughter is the same age as Annabelle and Rhys. All the kids played really well together. Check out my little poser GG in this shot....
Rhys thorougly enjoyed his cupcake!
These little kiddos made quite a mess together!
Look out - here comes GG driving the firetruck! She's not great with her steering and managed to bump into all the furniture and walls. Oh GG!

Wyatt didn't stay still for long, but I managed to get at least one picture of him.
I don't know how I got so lucky, but Rhys doesn't let just anyone take his picture. He usually runs and hides his face so I'm feeling very very special.

After dinner I realized I had not watched any of the game, or the commercials for that matter. I was so excited to see the Saints in the Super Bowl I was afraid I would not be able to see any of it. I was very busy keeping up with playing (and pooping!) kids. Sheila saved the day which just two minutes left of the game she sent the dads and the kids downstairs and we were actually able to watch the Saints win it! Woo ho!! What a great game and what a fun time at the Tyler's house.

great minds ... for serious! i made "coltcakes" for the super bowl! ha! mine were white iced with blue horseshoes on them ...
ReplyDeleteahh ... when have cupcakes not saved the day?
