children's museum

We met the Merrill's for a fun morning at the Denver Children's Museum.  We use to spend all our time in the toddler area and this time we skipped right past it. The girls found several new exhibits which they really enjoyed including the vet clinic, art studio, and the construction zone.

On a side note there was this crazy lady there with her daughter or her grandaughter....it was tough to tell. I'm sure she was very good intentioned but she was overly friendly with my girls. She was talking to them, dancing with them, and her daughter/granddaughter even took their picture.  At one point she picked Annabelle up to dance in front of a mirror in the dance studio. Um, as good-intentioned and friendly as you may be - don't pick up my kid! I don't pretent to be laid back about my children and I don't like strangers touching them. I know, I'm high-maintenance that way.

Anyway, all the girls had a great time playing together. The Merrill girls are so sweet. Ella does such a good job looking out for the little girls and all the little girls play very nice together. They took turns ringing each up at the 'grocery store' which was so stinkin' cute. It was great to see them and we're looking forward to seeing them again soon! Annabelle's already asking to see the girls again!

This new construction exhibit will only be at the museum for a few weeks. The girls had a great time in this room.
