game night

We attended a fundraiser this evening at the girls' daycare. The funds are being used to put in a new playground. Several local restaurants pitched in for the meal including hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, potato salad, cupcakes and drinks. We had a great time watching the girls eat, play and run a mock with their daycare buddies. It's been really nice to watch all these little ones grow up together. Most of the kids in Annabelle's class have been together since they were just a few weeks old and now they're closing in on the big THREE!

After dinner, B put the girls to bed and I headed off to my Bunco/Game night. We try and gather for Bunco once a month, but it's somtimes difficult to get 12 gals together with jobs, kids, families, travel, etc. When we have 12 we play Bunco, when we don't we play a board game. This month we had a really fun crowd and played Apples to Apples. I spent the entire night laughing. I'm a bit competitive and everyone knows it so I was dishing it out and they were throwing it right back. I am not pleased to say that I lost both games, but I had a great time!
