One of the best parts of owning my own business is setting my own hours. With my dad and Melissa in Breckenridge this week, I took the day off and headed up to see them with the girls. I sure do love being my own boss!
We spent the afternoon at the Peak 8 Fun Park. The girls bounced away in the bouncy house and then we took a ride down the alpine slide. Annabelle was a bit cautious at first, but then was eager to win the race! Gwyneth was not thrilled with the ride and when we asked if she wanted to go again she just started crying. I always thought of Gwyneth as the thrill seeker in the family -- looks like my girls have swapped places for the time being.
The girls were able to open their birthday gifts from Poppy and Melissa, play with their new toys, and then we went out for a delicious dinner at Briar Rose. We had such a nice time. It was a wonderful mid-week get away!
The girls had a snowball fight with Poppy - yes, there is still snow on the hill in July! Poor Gwyneth lost her footing and slid down the mountain in the mud. Oops!
Present time
A family of foxes have made their home outside Poppy and Melissa's condo. The girls loved them. Notice the fox watching from across the street...
We spent the next day at the park before heading home.
