pretty nails

I really don't like clipping the girls' nails. They are quite dramatic and when I come at them with nail clippers you would think I was attempting to amputate a limb. I enjoy pretty much everything about being a mom, so to keep that statement true I have given up cutting their nails and splurge and get their nails cut at our local salon. Before you judge me too harshly for this extravagance, here's the deal: they charge me $5/girl to cut their fingernails, toenails and then paint them. They even throw in a flower on their thumbs and big toes. Um, best $10 I've ever spent...and look at the smiles on their faces! Now, if I can just find someone to brush their hair....

Annabelle is my girlie girl. She always picks pink or purple and agonizes over her choice!

Gwyneth walks in the salon and says "I want Blue". I pick out two different shades of blue for her and ask which she wants. She responds "I want Blue". Blue it is!!
