1. My favorite feeling in the world is snuggling up on the couch under a big blanket with B and the girls and watching a movie together. Content. I feel very content in that moment and contentment is rare for me.
2. My favorite smell is anything fall. Pumpkin, toasted marshmallows, carmel apples, candy corn, wood burning fires.
3. My favorite taste is a very well prepared streak. Nothing tastes better. Nothing.
4. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen is ...I know I'm suppose to say the birth of my children, BUT...I find labor, delivery, c-sections, squishy slimy newborns all rather traumatic. It's life-changing and miraculous, but I'm not sure beautiful is the word comes to mind. Attending the ballet is beautiful. It's haunting and beautiful and mesmerizing. I adore it.
5. The best sound ever is Gwyneth's laugh. Annabelle can make her belly laugh in a way that no one else can. It's a sound of pure joy.
6. A smell that reminds me of my childhood is Off Bug Spray. I grew up in St. Louis where it is very humid and mosquitoes love me.
7. My favorite of all the senses is sight. Reading, watching my girls dance and play, reading, watching movies, reading, watching Dexter, reading, and oh yeah, reading.
I totally agree with you on number one and four. I have seen professional ballet once in real life and it was something I will never forget! ...and number five...yes!
