1. The last thing I ate was Raisinettes. Dinner of champions while the husband is out of town.
2. The last time I went to the beach was in September for my niece, Jocelyn's birthday. It was a reservoir, but a beach nonetheless. I will also mention I should be on the beach right now!
3. My last vacation was to St. Louis in September. Also, please see above. ME - BEACH - NOW - THANKS FOR NOTHING SOUTHWEST.
4. The last place I drove was to Barnes and Noble. To pick up a Christmas present for my niece Gabriela. Yes, I said Christmas. Yes, I know its October. Yes, I clearly have no idea what to do with all this free time when my travel plans fall apart. But being finished with my Christmas shopping before Halloween sounds delightful.
5. The last song I listened to What a Good Boy by Barenake Ladies. I enjoy listening to this album in my car really, really loud.
6. The last thing I watched on tv was the movie Jane Eyre. Just finished re-reading the book and have been eager to watch the movie. Great timing with the husband out of town, because nothing scream nap time to B like a period film. Movie was just ok, but the rainsettes and book were phenomenal. And it gave me a fabulous idea for my niece for Christmas....
7. The last time I said "I Love You" was when I put my girls to bed tonight. And then minutes later I had to threaten to separate them if they didn't keep it down. Then I told them I loved them again. And then I actually did have to separate them. Then I told them I loved them again. Then I had to threaten to throw Gwyneth in the backyard with coyotes if she didn't go to sleep....no, I would never, ever do that, or would I? If I did, Then I would tell her I loved her again.
Quite possibly my favorite Christmas present every purchased. I can post this because Gabriela is only one and I don't believe she checks my blog yet....
Kind of twisted that Jane is an orphan thrown into a terrible institution by her horrid aunt...let's hope that Gabriela doesn't read into the horrible aunt theory some day and just loves the book.
Felix LOVES this book ... would also reccomend "Pride and Prejudice" and "Alice in Wonderland!"
