Our first day at the park! We had Hopper Passes so we could go between Disneyland and California Adventure. The girls were absolutely thrilled from the castle to the rides to the princesses. Nothing but smiles on these sweet little faces. We arrived when the gates opened, rode so many rides, saw so many characters, dined with the princesses, and ended the evening with a cotton candy bedtime snack and fireworks. The girls lasted (and B survived!) over 12 hours at the parks and each minute was filled with fun!
Breakfast at Disneyland
Mary Poppins.
You will see a trend - the girls would only stand by themselves with the princesses. All other characters they clung to me.
So, so, so excited! This may be my favorite picture from the trip.
After Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Gwyneth explaining how terrifying this was...
After the Alice in Wonderland ride
Meeting Tiana, from Princess and the Frog
Gwyneth was so stinkin' cute - she asked Belle is she remembered coming to her birthday party! Belle said "yes, but you look much taller since your birthday". Wow, that's the way to make a little girls day!
Hugs for Cinderella
I thought the Mickey and Minnie phase had passed in our house, but everything is more fun in Mickey's Toon Town.
Taking a rest on Minnie's bed
Checking herself out in Minnie's mirror
Minnie's tea party patio
Mickey Mouse's house
Busting out of jail!
Look at that strength!
It's A Small World Ride. Gwyneth's absolute favorite and we went at least 10 times over our visit.
Meeting Merida, from Brave
Meeting Goofy
Gwyneth wanted to meet all the characters but was a bit afraid of the costumes. She would ask "there's just a person in there, right? right? it's not real. right? right?"
Loving their souvenir pins.
Where we dined with the princesses for dinner:
Meeting Ariel, Annabelle's favorite!!
After many more rides, we had a cotton candy snack, watched some fireworks and put some very worn out kids to bed. And we still had two more days to go....
Am LOVING these adventures ... can only imagine the princess mania. I'm hoping at some point Robert is photographed in a tiara of his very own. Grins.
