ice skating

Miss Gwyneth has been quite passionate about learning how to ice skate. I was excited...it seems like a very Colorado activity. Plus, B and I both really suck at it so it would  be wonderful to have a graceful ice skater in the family. I asked her if she wanted to learn to speed skate and go really fast and was quickly informed "no, I want to learn to ice skate like a princess and I will need a tutu". She's a tough cookie, but there's always the dream of that tutu just around the corner...

First time on ice skates. She was walking around quite easily. And yes, that's a tiara right on her helmet. Always a princess.

Learning to balance and stand before hitting the slippery stuff.

Really getting the hang of it

Smart girl - hanging on to that wall for dear life. 

There were some tears when she fell, but she hopped back up and is ready to return for her lesson again next week. She'll be tearing up in the ice in no time!
