We spent the morning at the Botanic gardens. Outside. In St. Louis. In June. In the heat. My God, the heat. And the humidity. I get so irritable when I'm hot. I was awful. My poor children. I had no patience. I yelled at them unnecessarily and I was all around pretty terrible to be around. Luckily they have their cousins and seemed to still have a fun day...and hopefully in the future they will just learn to avoid me when the weather reaches the 90's. Or I could more intelligently request indoor activities in the ac.
