shots

Oh, how I have dreaded this day!

 

The girls both had their annual doctor's appointment and both needed shots. I had to take them alone because B couldn't get away from work. They both did great on their hearing and vision tests and both are healthy and happy. Well, they were happy until they had to get shots. YIKES! What a nightmare. I had to hold both of them down (dang....these girls are strong!!!). Annabelle got one shot and Gwyneth got FOUR!

 

 

Miss Annabelle is still a bit of a shorty. She's on the small side but to be expected. She shouldn't expect to stand in the back row for pictures any time soon.

Gwyneth is a giant!! Miraculously she is measuring in the 98th percentile for height. The doctor found this hilarious -- naturally because she's met B and I. She said to expect her to be about 5'9" or 5'10". What the heck????  I can't wait to see this child towering over me....and with heels, she'll easily be looking down at her dad too.

Poor Gwyneth has about 2% body fat so there was no cushion for her shots. She was in a lot of pain. She wobbled around and spent the rest of her day on the couch with her leg propped up. She may have been milking it a little bit but she really was sore.
