trunk or treat

We signed up to be one of the cars in the trunk or treat line at the girls' school festival. I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.

 

1. It was planned from 6 -7. We were there from 6 to very, very late! The line wrapped around the building and I thought we were never going to get out of there. Thankfully we never ran out of candy.

 

2.  The other cars were INSANE! We threw in a few spider webs and a lot of spiders and called it a day. There were cars with back up generators for their smoke machines and lights and crazy costumes. Oh man, we are so lame!

 

3. It was so nice to hand out the candy and not have to wait in line. All the kids walked by us and we got to see everyone. I can get use to that.

 

4. The girls had a blast running around with their friends. B got a good work out chasing after them and trying to follow them in two different directions. Next time they stay put and their friends come to them at the car or B may not survive next year.

 

This is Sam. Gwyneth loves this little boy and he chases her around the playground. She calls him her "little shorty pants". She is so flippin' tall!
