I picked the girls up a bit early from school and off we headed to San Francisco to visit my sister Stacy and her family. They were so, so excited to see their cousins. My dad and Melissa joined us for the weekend too.
Tonight Stacy got a babysitter and the girls had a relaxing night at home while we went out to celebrate Carl's 40th birthday. We dined at a delicious restaurant and enjoyed several bottles of wine. It was a long meal and we didn't get home until after 1:00...which was a little rough given the time change, but lets be honest, I'm a rock star.
