B received Avalanche tickets for his birthday. It was an afternoon game which was so nice because we actually got to see the entire game. The Avs played the Blues and I thought it would be really exciting given my St. Louis roots. Sadly the Blues fans were really annoying and there were A LOT of them. I gave the girls a hard time that our house was divided by Colorado vs St. Louis and they clearly abandoned me. The Avs lost the game, but I realize I may have grown up in St. Louis but I'm a Colorado sports fan along with the rest of my family. We are no longer a family divided! (Unless you count football and Annabelle will still pick the Bears over Broncos. We're still working on her.)
