spring break: butterflies and roller skates

My goal was to have a near FREE Spring Break. I gathered a bunch of coupons and set out to plan the most inexpensive but fun activities. We have a membership to the Butterfly Pavilion so we jumped at the invitation to meet friends for the morning.

Mackenzie is 4 and I love this picture of her looking up at Annabelle:
She really likes my girls. So cute!
A butterfly landed right on Jack's head.

Next stop library! We spent lots and lots of lots of time there.  The girls brought in their notepads to make their "to read" lists. I couldn't be more proud.
Then we went for the free afternoon of roller skating for their school. Annabelle saw a friend from her class and instantly got embarrassed and spent most of the time trying not to fall down on the carpet area. It was a little boy from her class if that explains it...

Gwyneth on the other hand was fearless and wore herself out. She gets going pretty fast these days and has requested skates for her birthday.

Can't keep this girl down:

B made dinner for us at home and then we all went for ice scream. With a coupon you ask? Yes, yes indeed. The entire day cost us less than $10 and it was jam filled with fun!
