dallas

I have a work seminar in Dallas this week, so my mom graciously flew out to stay with the girls so B could join me. She arrived this morning at 9:30, we got the girls settled in and B & I headed out around 3:00. It was the quietest flight I've had in 2 years!! I put in my earphones and turned on my new IPOD (the girls and B got it for me for Mother's Day) and sat back and enjoyed the ride. You really forget how easy travel can be when you're not traveling with little ones.

We arrived in Dallas in time to meet Jamie and Craig for dinner at Morton's. We had a blast and my dad had called ahead and hooked us up with VIP treatment. We received complimentary after dinner drinks - I love Baileys and it had been quite some time since I've had it. I was able to see Jamie twice in 3 days!! Pretty good since I hadn't seen her in almost a year.

I really really miss my girls but I know they are in very good hands with YaYa. Annabelle rocked with YaYa to Dancing with Stars and YaYa has assured me they are on their best behavior. I was able to talk to Annabelle on the phone before she went to bed and she said "Nigh, Nigh" and "Love you, Momma". GG just laughed! I can't wait to get to home to them. They are having a blast with YaYa and will be spending tomorrow at the playground and eating ice cream. I doubt they are missing me much right now! :)
