GG & Mommy Time

I took the day off and had an aggressive agenda for the day. I was able to spend some much needed one-on-one time with Gwyneth and still cross off quite a few of my "to-do's". I always have a long long to do list but I feel like I've made a bit of progress.

We dropped Annabelle off at daycare in the morning and off to the grocery store. Gwyneth was in heaven to have the cart and her momma all to herself. She got lots of love from the other patrons and a very nice man even let me go ahead of him in the check-out line because he said she was just the sweetest little girl he had ever seen. I LOVE grocery shopping during the day during the week. The store was empty! GG and I had the run of the place.

After groceries, it was time for Gwyneth to get her 3rd haircut. 3 haircuts in 10 months. This girl is going to have quite a head of hair! It's thick and grows quickly. I'm a bit envious. GG was such a big girl. She sat in the car chair all by herself. She sat very still and watched Elmo while they trimmed up her do.

After her haircut, we were off to get her 10 month pictures taken. She was all smiles while we waited but of course they were running behind so she started to get tired by the time it was her turn. Of course with those chubby cheeks and that sweet little face even if she doesn't smile we get adorable shots. I'll post a few of my favorites soon.

By this time Miss Gwyneth was ready for a nap so I took her to daycare so I could run more errands while she slept. B and I snuck off for an adults only lunch and then I ran all over town looking for a new coffee table - one that matches our couches but isn't glass or wood for fear of a little one bashing their head on it. Gus came over to watch the Nuggets game with B (which was a horrible game!) and after getting the girls to bed I worked on Annabelle's 2nd birthday party invitations. I decided to make them and have been way too ambitious. There's 3 different colors of paper, a stamp, some ribbon, and a touch of Elmo involved. I'm really happy with them, I just hope they get done by the time she turns 3! I'll post pictures as soon as they are complete.

Phew - what a busy busy day! It's almost more work when I stay home from work! I need a vacation from my vacation day. ;)
