happy birthday, annabelle

Annabelle is a bundle of blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and two year old sass! We couldn't possibily love her more. Even with the growing pains she's a treat and teaches us something new everyday...sometimes just learning to be patient can be a full-time job! She's talking so much and running everywhere. She keeps us on our toes and we are so very proud of her!

We celebrated Annabelle's birthday with an Elmo party in our backyard. There were about 30 kids including a bunch of her pals from daycare. She was in heaven! Annabelle and Gwyneth had a blast and were spoiled with so much love and attention. The kids played on the playgym, broke the Elmo pinata, ate lots of treats, and the best part --- played with Elmo! That's right my dear dear sister, Becky, dressed up in the scorching heat and danced around as Elmo for the kids. It was hilarious although slightly frightening for some of the younger kids.

Annabelle and Gwyneth played hard and were sound asleep by 8:00. Becky and I took Madison to see the movie "Year One". (That's movie 3 for me in 4 days if you're counting). It was absolutely ridiculous but mildy entertaining.

I really hope Annabelle enjoyed her 2nd birthday. Now, off to start planning for Gwyneth's party next month. Phew! Next year we'll be doing a combined party right in between their big days.
