butterflies

We spent the morning at the Butterfly Pavilion with the girls' buddy, Quinn. They go to daycare together and Quinn is between the girls in age. He is such a sweet little boy and we remember his first day at school when he was just 7 weeks old. It's amazing to watch these little ones change and grow up together.

Gwyneth was not happy to be stuck in the stroller and wanted to be up on her dadda's shoulders. The view is much better up here.

Annabelle had to squat way down low to see the butterflies.

She does this same move when she's talking to babies.

Oh my, all 3 sitting still....this couldn't last for long! Annabelle shocked me by "petting" the starfish. She's usually such a chicken but she climbed right up and stuck her hand in the water. She went back several times and even "pet" the stingray.

Unfortunately the exhibit where the kids can actually climb around and play was closed so our day was cut a bit short. Quinn's mom, Kelly, is a school teacher so we're trying to get the kids together again before her summer break comes to an end.
