Bears Eat Cheeseheads

As soon as this seasons NFL schedule was posted, we planned our Packers/Bears day with the Tyler's and Lemek's. It's been in the works for about two months. Why we would want to watch our beloved Bears with Packers fans is not entirely clear. We were extremely outnumbered! We stuffed ourselves with B's Chicago-style Italian beefs and there was plenty of Wisconsin cheese to go 'round. The kids had a blast playing together and to our dismay, Don finally witnessed a Packer win in the Meyer house. I never thought I'd see the day.

When asked "What do Bears eat?", Annabelle replies with a smirk "Cheeseheads!". Her dadda and I are oh, so proud. That's our Chicago girl!

GG also really enjoyed the pepperoni rolls which you can see on her dirty little face - she's also got a stash saved in her cheeks.

I was so happy to be home with B and the girls and we had an absolute blast. We are so lucky to have such great pals with such fun kids here in Colorado. It's always an adventure and we're looking forward to a Bears/Packers rematch.
