train museum

Gwyneth and I met up with some friends at the Haunted Train Museum in Golden. Annabelle's fever broke the night before but we wanted to play it safe and keep her away from the other kids for at least 24 hours. As we were packing up to leave Annabelle asked "Where is GG going?" and B replied "She's going with momma and you're going to hang out with me. Annabelle's response was classic "Awwwwe man, GG's going to get pickles!". Smart girl.

Gwyneth is at such a fun age and she's such a sweet little girl. She loved the trains and just wanted to explore and run everywhere. She wasn't afraid of all the scary costumes, walked right through the Haunted train, and even scored a tootsie roll from a witch! She carried that tootsie roll with her the rest of the day - wouldn't let go of it! Imagine how mad she'll be when she realizes there was actually chocolate in that wrapper!

Run, GG, run!Miss Sheila is always very popular but even more so today because she gave Gwyneth some funnel cake!I crouched down to GG's level to take her pictures and said "GG say Cheese". We had a really fun morning and spent about 2 hours at the train museum. What a great turnout too - the Tylers, Jaime, the Lemek's and the Fesslers all made it out for the day. Annabelle will be a bit relieved to hear they were sold out of pickles so GG didn't get pickles without her!
