snow day

We skipped right over fall this year and went straight to winter! The snow started falling Tuesday evening and hasn't stopped. We have about 20 inches at our house! I took the day off and daycare was closed. We were basically snowed in! Annabelle really wanted to go out and play so the girls got all bundled up and out we went. Annabelle loved it, Gwyneth not so much.

Annabelle jumped right in the snow...Gwyneth tried to follow and it didn't work out so well. Maybe this is why she's not a huge fan of the snow anymore...

We spent the rest of the morning playing in the playroom, trying to give B some peace and quiet so he could work. We are a big distraction since he works from home. The girls played hard with their toys and we only had one major meltdown.

Now what could cause a little girl to get so upset like this? Her baby sister stealing her Shmooze bear and then taunting her with it!!

The girls went down for a nap at the same time, but Gwyneth only lasted about an hour. She's going to be grouchy this afternoon! I really need to find something fun for us to do this afternoon or we're all going to get a bit stir-crazy.
