navy pier

Our last stop was the Winter Wonderland Festival at Navy Pier. We had quite the crowd and were even able to see Joe and Casey, B's cousin. It was the first time Gwyneth got to meet them! YaYa, Grandma, Auntie Becky and Madison joined us too. We had more Chicago Dogs for lunch (yum, yum, yum!!) and then explored the festival.

The girls took a quick milk break while we waited for everyone to gather. They were guarding all the Bears gear.
Madison was such a great big cousin and took the girls on so many rides at the Winter Wonderland.

B and Gwyneth taking a turn on the big slide. Gwyneth looked terrified but asked for "more, more, more".

Grandma and Becky
That sure is a Winter Wonderland...

I rode this ride first with Annabelle and then with Gwyneth. I was a bit woozy when I was finally done. Enough spinning already!
Miss G was getting really tired - we rocked the festival straight through nap time. At first glance she was just hanging out with YaYa....

Not a minute later, she was out! YaYa has the perfect touch.
The last "ride" was Madison's big climb. That girl has freakish upper body strength and always has. She made her was through the rope obstacle cource in record time.
There she is - just putting it all in perspective.
We had a fabulous trip and B, the girls, and I were so happy to have the time with YaYa, Grandma, Becky, Madison, Maeva, Cathleen, Casey and Joe. We were able to fit so much into such a short amount of time.  Thanks again to everyone for running us around and taking time out of your busy schedules to see us. We loved it!!
