There was a Party in Chicago and we were all invited. My mom, B, Madison, and I took Annabelle, Gwyneth and Maeva to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live!! They were ecstatic to say the very least. When the show first started Gwyneth was a little freaked out but once she saw her old familiar "friends" she was dancing the most of all 3 girls! YaYa spoiled them with glow sticks and mini Fufa dolls. (not quite sure if that's how to spell Fufa but if you know and correct me, then I'll be even more worried about you for knowing that!). The show was the perfect amount of time - about 30 minutes less than these shows usually run. It definitely catered to the younger audience. There were bubbles, balloons, and the all too familiar song "There's a Party in My Tummy". I never in a million years thought B and I would go to these kind of shows (I didn't even know Yo Gabba Gabba existed!), but it's amazing what we'll do to see those huge cheesy grins on our girls' faces. I wonder since we actually flew out of state to see this show if our girls are considered Gabba Roadies?
Gwyneth in true Yoooooo Gabba bliss!
Live and on stage...
Gwyneth and Maeva taking a dance break during intermission
Madison is such a good cousin to "her babies" as she loving referrs to them. They seem to keep her very entertained.

Words just can't describe the Gabba Gabba excitement....
After intermission it was bubble time! I'm so happy my mom got to be at the show with us. She really got to see my girls in their element just dancin' away!

As we were were leaving the theatre there was an advertisement for Sesame Street live in May and Miss Madison wanted to know if we'd be returning. Could take some sweet talkin', but we'll see what we can do!

I'm sure you guessed that I would respond.....It's Foofa. :)
ReplyDeletehave you seen jack black on yo gabba gabby? comedy. pure comedy.
ReplyDeleteJack Black is the reason we let the girls watch the show!! We have that episode on DVR and I do believe Roberto watches it even when the girls are not around. I'm thinking of getting him the orange jump suit for Christmas. ;)
