happy birthday, cade

The Fessler's hosted Cade's 3rd birthday party at Little Monkey Bizness. I told the girls we were going and they were thrilled. Annabelle ran to the coat closet and said "Come on GG, get your coat on!". Unfortunately I told them about the party around 9 am and the party wasn't until 4 in the afternoon. Oops! By the time the party rolled around they were definitely ready to go.

The girls had not seen Cade in quite some time and they had a great time celebrating with him. They were very glad to see their buds Rhys and Wyatt, too. They played hard and enjoyed plenty of pizza and SUGAR! They had candy and cake and ice cream. Phew! Sweet tooth fix, for sure. Gwyneth was the youngest there, but did a great job sitting in her little chair and eating her pizza. She scarfed down two whole pieces. She also very quietly sat and ate her fun dip which is basically just a sugar stick that you lick and pick up more colored sugar. I was absolutely not going to let her have that but I had to give in to the group mentality and let my baby girl go with the flow. Baby girl no more, she wanted to hang with the big kids and she certainly did.

Pizza Time! GG didn't want her's cut up. She to eat it in slices like the big kids!
Cake Time!

After the party we headed home and that's when the sugar really kicked in. Oh my! These  girls were wound up and ready to wrestle. They had fun at first, but as these things always seem to progress with little girls, they ended up crying and their daddy had to break it up. It's usually when one of them finally sits on the other.... (it's never the same, each gal gets their turn on the top around here!).
