boondocks

Jocelyn and I picked up the girls from daycare after nap time. (I wanted to get them earlier, but knew interrupting naps would be a very bad idea.) We headed to the Boondocks and I really wanted to take the girls on the bumper boats. They love swimming, love splashing around in the water so naturally I thought they would really enjoy the bumper boats. I was absolutely wrong!! They wouldn't even go near them. We stood in line and they cried, and cried, and cried. This was not the reaction I was expecting. So, we turned in our tickets and watched Jocelyn take a turn. I am not too sad that we didn't go with her -- she got soaked! Maybe next time?

There is a junior race track for the little kids. It's just one little loop, but Annabelle got her need for speed!

Gwyneth wasn't quite sure about the cars.

Um, sweetie you may want to watch where you are driving.... oh boy!

Gwyneth was just a bit too short to ride passenger on the big go-karts. Not Annabelle, she was tall enough and ready to go. There was no going back to those little cars after cruising with her daddy.

There's even a medium size track for Jocelyn's age group. She did great!
