Back in Business

Gwyneth got a great night sleep and managed to hold down some more pedialite, a little formula, some applesauce, and bananas. When asked if she was feeling better this was her response...

We are now questioning GG's illness and believe she may have been pulling a fast one on us and trying to ditch school. If she wasn't just 10 months old and incapable of stealing our car, we'd be running through all the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" scenarios. If we find pictures of her at a baseball game, singing in a parade, or dining at a fine French restaurant she is busted! Momma and Dadda are no fools. Luckily, GG really took advantage of her day home and got caught up on some reading... Annabelle arrived home from an exhausting day at the office and realized she had yet to update her facebook status or text with her friends. Luckily she had a tall drink (milk!) to take the edge off...We're still taking it easy with GG's tummy and she just had some applesauce and a few cheerios for dinner. She is clearly not pleased. Don't mess with a hungry GG!
With the socks to her knees and her pants pulled up to her belly button Annabelle continues to rock her own fashion trends. Dressing herself at 23 months and letting momma know that ANNABELLE calls the shots. I envision lots of shopping trips, days at the salon and girl talk when she is a teenager. Ah, to dream.... She is so strong willed. If she wasn't so much like me it would be really frustrating! After dinner we thought Gwyneth could use a little fresh air so we all went out to play in the backyard. The girls have so much fun with their house, picnic table and play gym. I have no idea when this is going to get old for them, but I hope it's not anytime soon.

Luckily B found someone to share his love of hats....

Annabelle has learned to play kitchen which means she pretends to make something for us to eat and then hands it to us and we have to pretend to eat it. Momma is a really good sport and fake nibbles away. Unfortunatley for GG she doesn't understand that she is supposed to eat the air that Annabelle hands her!

After the girls went to bed we packed for our trip to San Francisco. We're off to see Stacy, Carl and Maeva. It's just a quick weekend trip but I hope to have some fun pictures to post of the 3 little ones together when we return. Please think good thoughts for us that we'll all have a healthy and happy flight!!!
