Breckenridge

We joined Poppy & Melissa for the long holiday weekend in Breckenridge. Unfortunately they were supposed to fly into Eagle County but weather detoured their flight to Broomfield. B, the girls, and I spent the afternoon wandering around town and even stopped in at Downstairs at Eric's for a snack. The girls had so much fun playing in town and running around the backyard of the condo. Poppy & Melissa finally arrived before the girls went to bed for the night. The girls slept in the same room for the weekend and loved it! They played around a lot - we could hear them singing and giggling well past their bedtime - but they really enjoyed being together. After the girls were in bed, we ordered take-out from Briar Rose and feasted on scallops, tomato salads, steaks and ahi tuna. It was Morton's calibur - quite the feast!

B and his girls. After watching them play this weekend, he has me convinced I need to suck it up and go camping.

This may look like trouble, but there was lots and lots of laughing going on. This is one of my favorite pictures of B with the girls. They were having such a good time and he never seems to mind when they treat him like a jungle gym.
