The girls spent the entire day in their pj's, played hard and took great naps. They were ready to party. We gathered a few friends in need of some holiday cheer and we had a small friendly fa la la la la gathering. Gus, Consuelo, Corey, Rose, Jess, Don, Andrew and Hanna came over for some food, fun, and general holiday meltdown. We had a wonderful time with our friends and the girls enjoyed the company. Thanks to all for being so good to our girls! Thanks to Consuelo for all the sweet treats and Gus for the girls' golf clubs.

One of my favorite memories of the day is when I was explaining the meaning of Chistmas to Annabelle and Gwyneth and told them they shouldn't be focusing on Santa but celebrating Baby Jesus' birthday. Annabelle screamed "We get cake!!". Ok, so I may have missed the mark here but Christmas afternoon we made a birthday cake for Baby Jesus. The girls shared the cake with Andrew and I hope this becomes a family tradition for us. It's an endearing story that will always remind me of when my girls were so young and innocent and sweet....
