Santa paid the Meyer girls a visit and they were thrilled with all their new toys! When the girls walked down the stairs, Annabelle screamed "I got a bike!". B and I thought for sure Gwyneth would go right for the bikes and Annabelle would go for the train table, but it was the exact opposite! Both seem to be a big hit. It took them about 30 minutes and a bit of coaxing to notice and open the rest of the gifts under the tree. Gwyneth cracked me up with her Yo Gabba Gabba doll, which became an instant favorite, and she loved her personalized Dora pillowcase. Annabelle really liked her Dora dress up clothes and requested to watch her "Annie DVD right away.
I had so much fun watching the girls open their gifts and I couldn't have been happier to have this quiet, family time. Better yet, we are not traveling this year so there was need to get out of pj's all day. You just can't beat that!!
